During the Expo, countries, regions and international organizations officially participating in the Expo, known as “Official Participants,” will celebrate a National Day (for countries/regions) or a Special Day (for international organizations) on a designated day.
National Days and Special Days are days to honour the participation of Official Participants. They will be celebrated to deepen the understanding of the culture of Official Participants and contribute to the promotion of international goodwill.
On these days, Official Participants will invite distinguished guests from Japan and abroad, as well as general visitors, to attend ceremonies and cultural events, allowing them to experience and enjoy diverse cultures and traditions.
