It does so from a contemporary perspective, establishing itself as a showcase for the most relevant contributions that draw on our talent and ingenuity to global society in the fields of medicine, science, culture, sport and tourism; without forgetting that our present and our future are marked by our history.
Under the motto “Dreaming of the Future with the Development of Science”, the Cuban Pavilion offers visitors a rich and diverse cultural and tourist heritage, while learning about the evolution and transformation achieved ¬by an educated, inclusive, innovative, creative society with enormous scientific potential that is sowing its future.
In relation to the sub-theme, “Saving Lives,” the Pavilion gives visibility to the commitments that our country has with agendas aimed at guaranteeing sustainable development and the well-being of its citizens. In this sense, it will showcase innovative Cuban initiatives that work to find solutions in this area.
The territorial structure of the site proposes three thematic districts within it, associated with the three sub-themes, Connecting Lives, Saving Lives and Empowering Lives. In each zone, the pavilions of the different participating countries are grouped around a central pavilion, the emblem of the thematic district. Cuba participates in the “Saving Lives” zone
