Agenda 2030

The 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, agreed upon by all United Nations Member States in 2015, is a global commitment with a transformative vision towards economic, social and environmental sustainability, to reverse the challenges facing humanity. For Cuba, the adoption of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development is a commitment of the State and a national priority.

Sustainable Development in Cuba

Cuba is aligning its National Economic and Social Development Plan until 2030 (PNDES 2030) with the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), starting a Decade of Action in 2020 to advance these goals until 2030. This implies a significant commitment by the country to integrate the SDGs into its development policies and strategies.
